Bio
Drew Worden received his B.M. in Percussion Performance from Northern Arizona University in 2011. Currently he is pursuing his M.M. in Percussion Performance & Literature at the Eastman School of Music. In the summer of 2011, Drew co-founded Erasable Color, an Arizona based contemporary music quartet. As a composer, Drew was a featured finalist in the Southwest region of the Rapido! Composition Contest where his work was premiered by Voices of Change. He has written for solo marimba, solo multi-keyboard, percussion ensemble, piano trios and quartets and large mixed ensemble. His composition for audience participation, thirteen is featured on Erasable Color's debut CD of the same name. The summers of 2011 and 2012, Drew attended the So Percussion Summer Institute at Princeton University where he created, collaborated, and performed with the members of So Percussion. His primary teachers include Michael Burritt, Bill Cahn, Steve Hemphill (Percussion), Bruce Reiprich (Composition), and Joel DiBartolo (Jazz).
